  • The National Quality Award is officially set up by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and approved by the Executive Yuan (the Cabinet). The Award is bestowed for the following:
§ Promoting total quality management consciousness.
§ Setting up a model group.
§ Upgrading quality level.
§ Establishing excellent-quality product image.

Scopes of Service

  • Under the Committee, CSD is in charge of promotion and implementation of the National Quality Award. Services include:
§ Accepting inquiries and applications to the Award.
§ Publicizing the Award.
§ Executing ceremony of the Award.
§ Holding presentations, seminars and    demonstrations for award recipients.
  • Carried out seven ceremonies for the National Quality Award and activities related to the award.
  • The awarded enterprises and personnel include Texas Instruments Taiwan Limited CO., China Steel Corporation, Taiwan International Standard Electronics LTD., China Motor Corporation, Taisun Enterprise Corporation Limited, Taichung Machinery Works Co., LTD., AT & T Taiwan Telecommunications Co., LTD., United Microelectronics Corporation, IBM Taiwan Corporation, Inventec Corporation, Accton Technology Corporation, Matsushita Electric (Taiwan) Co., LTD., General Instrument of Taiwan LTD., Kwang Yang Motor Co., LTD., Teco Electric & Machinery Co., LTD. (Enterprises), Ching-Tai Resins Chemical Co., LTD., Berlin Co., LTD., Ken Sean Factory Co., LTD.
